Programs and Services
Averi Speaks offers education, advocacy, and connections to resources for autistic individuals and their families. You do not need a diagnosis to reach out and ask for help.
Parent and Caregiver Education and Advocacy
We help parents and caregivers understand their options and speak up for their child's needs. This support is for families at any stage, from first questions to ongoing advocacy.
IEP Preparation and School Support Guidance
We help families prepare for IEP meetings and understand school services. This guidance is for parents, caregivers, and anyone working to support a child's success at school.
Guidance for New Diagnosis
Learning about a new autism diagnosis can feel overwhelming. We walk alongside families to help them understand next steps and feel less alone.
Connections to Local Services and Family Resources
We connect families to services and resources in Tangipahoa Parish and Southeast Louisiana. Our goal is to help you find the right support without having to search alone.
Autism Acceptance and Sensory Needs Education
We share education on autism acceptance and sensory needs with families, educators, and community members. This helps build understanding at home, school, and in the community.
Family Resource Binders and Educational Materials
We provide resource binders and materials that families can keep and use as a reference. These tools are designed to make information easier to find and understand.
Community Outreach, Inclusive Events, and Family Engagement
We host and support events that bring families, educators, and the community together. These efforts help create spaces where everyone feels welcome and included. Please note: Averi Speaks does not provide clinical evaluations, diagnoses, or treatment. We focus on education, advocacy, and connecting families to the right resources.
